Gainsborough House is a beautiful Regency Style house overlooking the village green. The house has recently been interior designed to a high standard providing luxury accommodation for guests, all bedrooms having modern en-suite facilities, TV, tea and coffee trays. A full continental breakfast is provided.

•Twin bed with ensuite shower
(and a fourth with a separate bathroom)

Derek and Anita have asked us to pay a deposit, if we would like to reserve this for our guests. By asking for a deposit, I think either they're taking the piss with me because it's a wedding, or are behaving high and mighty as though they are better than anyone else's guest house because, as they say in their own words, 'We have recently completed filming a programme on Gainsborough House for channel 4 TV (Britain's B&B's) which will be broadcast in Feb or March 2010 and we expect to be very busy all year as a result.'
Oh la la. They must mistake me for an insane bride. Everyone else can stay there, but I will not. They are neither neighbourly, nor savvy with business opportunity.
