May to do list

Outstanding jobs:

Paula

- Bar: Follow up Ian of Prestige Bars; after speakng by phone he said he would e-mail proposal with ideas. Never received.
- Florist: Get quotes from florists for bouquets etc & book for collection or delivery.
- Furniture: Establish with Rupert what furniture we have at what cost and order other items, chairs, table cloths etc.
- Stationary: Provide guidance on what staionary items we need to consder stocking for and designing (Order of service, table plan, thank you card and food/drink description cards considered - anything else?)
- Bridesmaids: I'm struggling with the bridesmaid dresses. Finally found lovely dress at Debenhams (all girls tried on and liked, gold organza knee length, £70: 4x size 8, 1x size 10, 1x size 16), then when came to order they didn't have enough 8s in the whole country or online!! Any ideas?
- Music: Would you please find out if St Leonards church has a piano?
- Hair/Beauty: Any recommendations for someone local?


Matt:

- Website: Update accomodation section with simple names with hyperlinks
- Budget: Add up savings & check against target. Update budget record with expenses for stamps £41, and international postage £2.44 + 97p.
- Church: Arrange Marriage Banns to be read at both parishes. Service with Alan Gates, decide upon Order of Service via template from Rural Dean alan.gates@virgin.net
- Honeymoon: Check what vaccinations required. Complete passport applications.
- Bar: Confirm booking, Ian Dickson 07879 446837, ian@prestigebars.co.uk. Choose wines.
- Chairs: Order (we do not want to lose those wooden chairs), tables, straw bales etc. We can use Ruperts tables can we? I'm not clear on what has been agreed here.
- Wedding rings: Buy
- Groom/Ushers: Reserve or buy grooms attire
- Gift service: Not having a list, but may visit John Lewis in case people have any idea & ask
- Wedding night hotel: Booked, allocate 4 other rooms to visitors. Reserve out of town guests accommodation?
- Others: Collect more empty jars


Jess:

- Invitations: Gather outstanding addresses & sent final 8 invitations. Update responses & any info given, check website (Kat's address, diet etc).
Transportation: Try to make contact with Ickworth horse & cart guy, ask mum for number
- Cake: Do we need to organise a knife and cake stand for your cake? Borrow from Joy or G&P, TBC Would you like me to get a large base made from wood? Decide on size/description of cake & confirm with Joy & Paula
- Florist: Now I know your chosen supplier is Liz, once you have discussed with her the finer details I am happy to finalise the contract for you. Confirm who will make bouquets and buttonholes, & update florist once colour of ushers/bridesmaids confirmed
- Caterer: I am happy that the most important part is booked but I would also like to confirm with you any outstanding food requirements and who is responsible for bringing which item. Cottage booked, so we have small kitchen. Write down ideas for food & delegate.
- Stationary: Decide on all stationary required & buy (order of service, food cards, thank you cards)
- Bridesmaids: Reserve or buy dresses
- Bride: Buy veil, shoes, hoop, stockings, lingerie & arrange & alterations (For dress alterations contact Caroline 07787121403 or 01206395931 - back w/b 15/03)
- Music: Are you happy that we have this covered or do you need someone at the church for the signing of the register? No budget left for this, I can ask my brother, friend Tim or bridesmaids to play something. St Leonards piano? Choose music to be played, create playlist.
- First dance: Choose song and learn with mum
- Hair/Make-up: Book hairstylist and make-up artist
