1) her dad can grow some sweet peas for the wedding: old-fashioned varieties so they'll have a scent, and will be in different shades of pink, peach, white, and light purple.
2) he's also going to get out his flower books over the weekend and have a look to see what else will be out at the end of August
3) As far as picking our own, she's got a massive elaeagnus bush in her garden, with dark green foliage, ideal for flower arrangements.
4) her friend Elly's Mum is a trained florist and regularly does the flowers at the Baptist church in Bury: she would do the flowers for dirt cheap, she buys them all off Bury market at the end of the day - they cost £5 for 3 bunches.
